    To save space by simplifying the structure and to provide a hermetic compressor comprising a discharge valve mechanism for minimizing volume of a discharge hole part. An arm part 2a having spring property is formed on a valve stopper 2 for pressing a discharge valve 1. By pressing down the valve stopper 2 by a valve cover 5, the discharge valve 1 and the valve stopper 2 are fixed on a valve seat plate 3.
