When additional information and dynamic image information is recorded on an optical disc while managing the information as one file using a disc camera, recording capacity is utilized effectively by minimizing the useless area. A record control section generates a data file for recording at least either inputted video information or inputted audio information continuously in a logic block in a packet mode of fixed length different from the data size of the logic block of the optical disc and for recording the additional information added to the video or audio information in the logic block in a packet mode of fixed length. In such a data file, the fixed data size part of the additional information is located in front of the area where the video and audio information is recorded, and the variable data size part is located behind the area. |
