When producing the tires polyurea or polyurethane with low elastic hysteresis is used. These high polymers with low elastic hysteresis are obtd. by the reaction of mixed chain extenders and prepolymers which are produced by aryl isocyanate reacting with high molecular weight diols. The mixed chain extender include diols and aryldiamines. The aryl isocyanate and aryl diamines should be selected so as to obtain polymers having symmetrical structure. Polyarylamide fibers are used for the cords of tires. |
