The diagnostic apparatus of the present invention, which is equipped with a digital computer and is used for monitoring a power station with turbo-generators, includes a number of detectors distributed around the power station, supplying data to the former to enable it to determine if any failure is already in existence or is imminent to come about. The said computer, by way of establishing sub-systems (which are of general type and may be used in any type of detector), offers a systematic dagnosis, including: a) indication of displacement of the outputs of detectors, b) effective detector readings, c) indication of failures. |
