    Disclosed are a structure and a method for sealing a junction between separable parts of an assembled cabinet applicable to an electric apparatus. The structure comprises an elongated seal member lying between the separable parts along the entire length of the junction, a part of the free ends of the seal member lying parallel and in close contact, and means for pressing the part of the free ends of the seal member together so as to make a tight seal.
