This invention refers to the simultaneous prodn. of potassium nitrate and ammonium chloride through the reaction of ammonium nitrate and potassium chioride. It takes advantage of the common ion effect due to the reactants and resultants so as to retard the reverse reaction. Since the entire process offers a closed cycling system for feeding and yielding without any problem of pollution caused from the so-called "three wastes, the prodn. Plant may be built at anywhere unrestrictedly. Only generai chemical industrial equipment for normal pressure is reguired, and the prodn. scale can be arranged with ease. This invention provides a method for the prodn. of potassium nitrate and ammonium chlorlde at a lower cost, which is applicable even for traditional conditions as well. |
