This tape comprises a transparent bearing sheet between the tape reels and a transparent window formed in a cassette casing and an opaque bearing sheet between the tape reels and the opposite surface of the cassette casing. The color of the opaque bearing sheet is selected to provide good color contrast with respect to magnetic tape. The opaque bearing sheet is white so as to ensure good color contrast with any dark magnetic tape. Alternatively, the color of the opaque bearing sheet may be any color which provides good color contrast for ease of observation of the remaining length of the tape. |
