This invention includes: a work bench which is mounted on the base plate and capable of moving along Y axis, a slide carriage moving along X axis by virtue of the column and the cross beam, a Z-axis equipment which is supported by the slide carriage and capable of moving along Z-axis, a measuring head storage equipment fixed on the work bench, on which a number of measuring head clamping apparatuses can be mounted and each of them is provided with a signal-transmitting measuring head, and a measuring head loading and removing mechanism which is mounted in the Z-axis equipment and capable of selecting the most adequate signal-transmitting measuring head in accordance with the configuration of workpiece being measured and mounting it on the Z-axis equipment. |
