Each index of the products has attained the national standard and the aqueou absorptivity prominently decreases. Putting in corn starch-gel, polyvinyal aqueous solution and sodium silicate etc. in different proportion, strength of the products will be increased greatly for the special need of high strength products. And putting in sodium methylsilicate in different proportion for the requirement of hydrophobicing. The products have fairly high hydrophobic property, with its water asorptivity reaching 20~40%; the products are not easy to burn and don't deform at a temperature up to 600 deg.C; they do not pollute the environment and have the same production technology as the usual inflated perlite products. In producing 1000 m3 of these products, 120 ton of asphalt and 400 ton of coal will be saved. |
