The invention relates to a purification method of the industrial grade pentachlorophenol which includes: to immerge the pentachlorophenol in an alkaline solution or dissolve the pentachlorophenol in a bit more alkaline solution, then remove the insoluble substances and treat with activated carbon, and add a small amount of cupric sulfate in the obtained solution, then remove the deposits; or the procedure of treating with activated carbon and cupric sulfate can be reversed, and then to reclaim the pentachlorophenol. |
