4-Oxo-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives and salts in the pharmacology are herein described as well as processes for their preparation, R1, R2, R3 and R4 in the formula are defined in the specification and claim. These compounds possess valuable pharmacological properties. As calcium antagonists they exert vasospasmolytic, vasodilatory, and antihypertensive activities. They are therefore particularly suited for the treatment of vascular diseases. |
