The present invention relates to a process of electronic freezing mold-making, which is suitable for casting various medium and small sized ferrous and non-ferrous metal castings, especially nodular cast iron castings without riser by freezing the mold using electronic inner cooling method. The freezing temperature is under -25 deg.C, freezing time is 4-8 min. The process of electronic freezing is first to proceed the freezing and then, withdrawing the mold. Certain amount of water should be only added to the molding sand. In using electronic freezing, the freezing temp. is adjustable, while the problems of deformation and buckle are avoided to ensure true to size. Generally, the scull thickness of the frozen mold lies within the range of 10-20 mm. Equipments of sand treatment, of regeneration of molding sand, and of surface treatment are eliminated and no contamination to the environment. |
