This invention is related to a kind of navigation system which can navigate vehicles travelling among many terminals by means of light beam. The system includes: at least one transportation vehicle; the grating device which divides the ground into some adjacent unit regions to detect the situation when vehicles cross the boundary of two adjacent unit regions; light signal generator which emits light signal indicating the vehicle passing in each region and indicates the address of each terminal;the logical circuit between the grating device & light signal generator, which is used to control and distinguish the light signals from each region in response to the situation of the vehicle crossing a boundary; vehicleborn photoelectric receiver which detects the light signals from the light signal generator & transforms the light signals into electric ones; the control system of vehicle movement which is connected to photoelectric receiver, receives it's electric signals. |
