A moveable transparent protector is installed at the periphery of dangerous region of the punching machine tool. The closed motion of the safety hood is pedal operated by worker and the electromagnetic switch, which is pedal operated by worker originally and controls the motion-down of punch pin,is concealed behind the hood and controlled by the moving position of the hood. When the protector is at the open position and is not yet moved down to the effective closed position, casualties arising from malfunctions of the machine tool can not occur, because the electromagnetic switch is not able to be touched. The punch pin can be moved down only when the protector is effectively closed in advance, so the safety protective effect can be obtained. |
