Under the action of the press, hot extrusion of seamless pipe blank is proceeded to form the perpendicular junction of the main pipe with the branch, obtaining thus a T connection of equal diameter. The process and dies used in said invention are very simple, which consists of flattening of the pipe blank, heating for necking, heating for protruding, heating for ball pulling, trimming, heat-treatment and bevelling of the openings. T pipe connection made by said process features uniform wall thickness, elimination of residual thermal stress through heat-treatment, and can be used in the pipeline projects which requires higher parameters such as, higher pressure etc. |
