When a copy paper is passed through the gap between the transfer device and the photosensitive body surface, the charge with opposite polarity to the charge of the developer is discharged, and at the same time the developer, attached to the surface of a photosensitive body due to electrostatic force, shifts to said copy paper. Said copying machine is capable of preventing deterioration of quality of the pattern and predigesting the maintain process by providing a shield plate on the two sides ends which parallel to the direction, the copy paper is passed along which, and the shield plate is exposed only in passage between both end parts of a copying body. |
