    A wobble plate type compressor with a variable displacement mechanism is disclosed which is provided with an inclined plate hinged to a rotor fixed on a drive shaft and supports a wobble plate. The inclined plate is formed with a central hole for penetrarion on the drive shaft. The inner surface of the central hole partly contacts the outer surface of the drive shaft to restrict radial movement of the inclined plate while permitting the angle of the inclined plate to be varied.
