    The loading/unload unit comprises a rotating drum which is located in front of the feed opening of the furnace and mounted to a horizontal shaft. The drum rotates between the tube receiving position and the furnace feed opening and is divided into many sections. All the sections are penetrated by the horizontal hollaw shaft of the drum and are supported by a set of thick plates which are inserted into between the sections and perpendicular to the horizontal shaft.
