A weft-testing electrode, swinging together with the reed, is placed on the weft-guiding path on the loom side opposite to the weft-guiding unit. The circuit is on whenever the moist weft contacts with the electrode during weft knitting. The insulator, fixing the electrode, is placed under the warp and supported by the swinging shaft. This arrangement prevents the insulation of the electrode from degrading and the knit fabric from emergence of transversal flaws. |
