In the present invention a belt conveyer is mounted on the bottom of bulk carrier longitudinally. Over the belt conveyer there is a steel plate cover and on the cover there are a certain number of discharge ports. Above the discharge port there is a vertical discharge well unit which consists of a certain number of cylinder sections. As the bulk cargo is unloaded, one section or some sections of cylinder are lifted off first and then the bulk cargo is pushed into the vertical discharge well by use of scraping pusher and further the bulk cargo is fed onto the longitudinal belt conveyer by use of vibrating feeder. The longitudinal belt conveyer feeds the bulk cargo onto a cross belt conveyer, so that the bulk cargo is unloaded from carrier. The features of this invention are high-speed unloading and low cost. |
