    The filtrate filtered off from fresh royal jelly through 80~100 meshes silk is edible royal jelly, the royal jelly acid or 10-hydroxy-decylene acid remained in the filter residue is extracted by washing, precipitating and recrystallizing, the acid may be used to adjust the nutrient constituents in the processing of royal jelly or used as a standard for appraising the freshment of royal jelly. It has been proved that the 10-hydroxy-decylene acid has the effect of anti-cancer and is one of the important quality index of royal jelly. The royal jelly product processed by the invented method is an ideal natural nutriment whose quality is stable and reliable.
