A rotary electric motor has a generally cup-shaped motor case having a generally cylindrical side wall and a bottom. The bottom incorporates a bearing housing having an outer circumferential surface for a bearing which rotatably supports the rotor shaft. Both surfaces are hand finished and/or machined until the outer surface of the bottom forms a surface which is essentially perpendicular to the axis of the shaft and the surface is coaxial with the shaft. |
