    To execute easily the adjustment by executing a delay of a 0.5 horizontal period and switching of every field period, in a state of a reproducing signal (FM signal), and demodulating its signal. A reproducing FM signal which is read out by a reproducing head 2 from a rotary magnetic disk 1 is supplied to one fixed contact 5a of a switching device 5 through a reproducing amplifying circuit 3. Also, this reproducing FM signal is delayed by a 0.5 horizontal period by a delaying circuit 5 and supplied to the other fixed contact 5b of the switching device 5. Subsequently, the reproducing FM signal from the reproducing amplifying circuit 3 or an output of the delaying circuit 6 becomes an input of a video signal demodulating circuit 4 through the switching device 5. A video signal which is demodulated by the video signal demodulating circuit 4 is inputted to a video signal processing circuit 7, and a video signal corresponding to a still image is generated.
