The metallic ceramic material contains metallic tungsten, ceramic phase Al2O3 and La2O3 as well as metallic Cr, Ni (or Fe, Co) etc. metallic elements. The addition of some metallic elements improves the working properties of the material that can be used as moulding material for copper hot extrusion. The average life of the mould for copper hot extrusion is 1650 piece/mould, and its maximum service life can be up to 3100 piece/mould. |
