This invention refers to an organic-synthesized adhesive VR based on soya-oil dregs and used for mandrel preparation in casting. Soya-oil dregs (being dehydrated first), phenolic resin, rosin and calcium hydroxide are taken in a definite proportion for synthesizing and are added individually into reaction still and heated slowly till rosin and phenolic resin are melted. Heating is continued under stirring so as to keep temp. of 180-300 deg.C. The residual dregs is removed via a filter. The said adhesive provides not only improved strength as compared with that currently used but also inexpensive cost and sufficient source of raw material. |
