1,4-dibenzoxazolyl butane is chlorinated directly and then reacts with alkaline metal sulfide to prepare 2,5-dibenzoxazolyl thiophene. The formerly adoptive process possesses the disadvantages of: difficulties for obtaining intermediate and separating, severe conditions for post-treatment, much consumption and wastes, and low yielding etc., while the invented method shows advantages of: simple technology without any requirement for severe conditions and special equipments, easiness in operating, availability for industrial prodn. and high yield (up to 73% for refined prod.). |
