This invention refers to a method of prepn. of polyrosin with hydrogen chloride-zinc chloride used as catalyst. Rosin, solvent and catalyst are added together and reacted with each other (including dissolving, isomerization and polymerization), then pass to procedures of washing, distillating etc. This invention can be applied to produce polyrosin with softening point of 100-150 deg.C, content of bipolymer up to 62.6%, and the color grade is superior to or as good as the original. |
