It belongs to pearl cultivation. On the basis of nursing peal within attaching shell a nucleus of pearl is inserted between the shell of pteria martensii and the soft tissue of the external covering membrane first. Then the cultivated half covering pearl is inserted outside the soft tissue of other pteria martensii for cultivation, thus whole covering peal has been reared, putting an end to the history of rearing half covering pearl outside the soft tissue. The pearl reared with the method in this invention is not only larger in size, but also good in quality. Besides, it posesses true value of a pearl and economic benefit. |
