The invention is related to a device that removes the short fibres from bundle ones. A couple of holey cylinders are put together, opposite to each other, and between them, keeping a predetermined space and an electrostatic field. At least on one of the holey cylinders is mounted an absorption remover. The beginning part of a belt conveyer is located in the opposed space near the surface of a holey cylinder. The short fibres between the bundle fibees are fed into the opposed space by a feeding mechanism and absorbed through the cylinder holes into the remover by the action of electrostatic force and aspirating air flow. The bundle fibres from which the short fibres have been removed are oriented by electrostatic force and conveyed by the orientation. |
