    This invention relates to a synthetic process for fluoro-cyano chrysanthemate wherein 2-(4-chloro-phenyl)-3-methyl butanoic acid as raw material is subjected to four-step reactions such as hydrolysis, difluoro-methyl etherification, acyl-chlorination, and condensation to yield the desired product. Said process has advantages such as reducing the reaction steps in prior art by a factory of 2, shorting reaction time and lifting total recovery greatly.
