    The present invention provides one preprocessing method of sintered pyrite slag (before iron-smelting). In the said method, two stages of wet magnetic beneficiation are used, and the beneficiated sintered concentrate, after being mixed with other iron-containing material, fuel, and other material, is roasted into self-fusible sintered ore or acid pellets suitable for smelting in blast-furnaces. Compared with the original slag, the beneficiated sintered pyrite slag has an iron content 4-6% higher and a sulphur content 75% lower. The iron yield reaches 80% while the beneficiation rate is only 1.30. The sintered pellets, when smelted in blast-furnaces, may result in a qualification rate of pig iron as high as 100%. Therefore, the present invention opens up a new way for the utilization of sintered pyrite slag.
