This invention is a tester for the device used in colour TV, that is, a time-delay tester of chroma delay line. It is composed of a host apparatus capable of generating a rough and a fine testing signals and two test boxes. It features that the phase test principle is applied and a variable crystal oscillator in its fine test part is used to generate a sinusoidal test signal with highly stable oscillating frequency, so that its test precision can reach delta T=0.057ns. In the invention, a frequency divider is connected into the output terminal of the variable crystal oscillator, so the frequency of oscillator signal can be transformed into the time signal which are in accordance with tested result. |
