The compression stages are installed inside the machine body of the centrifugal compressor. Every compression stage is placed in the wheel shell connected with the machine body. The outer surface of the side wall of the wheel shell is formed into a ring-shaped cavity in the internal space of the machine body, and its inner surface will limit the through-flow passage. In respect to the moving direction of the compressed medium in the compression stages, in order to communicate the through-flow passage of the next stage with the last passage, the through-flow passage of every compression stage is isolated from the ring-shaped cavity, and the said ring-shaped cavity is connected with other ring-shaped cavity along the inner surface of the side wall of the machine body. The inner space of the machine body is communicated with the exhaust cavity. |
