A clamp (1) for joining together switchboards arranged side by side in a plane and having peripheral edge sections (2), especially hollow sections or the like, has two jaws (3), which are movable towards the opposite longitudinal surfaces (2a) of the opposite edge sections (2) and press them together, and an actuating mechanism for moving said jaws (3). At their ends opposite their clamping points (3a), both jaws have adjusting shanks (4) at an angle to them. These adjusting shanks (4) on the jaws (3) are inclined towards each other and both jaws (3) are arranged to swivel on a bearer (5) roughly in the corner region of their shanks (4). The ends of the two adjusting shanks (4) overlap and both engage in the overlap region with an eccentric (7) whose rotary or swivel bearing (7a) can be moved perpendicularly to the facing. |
