The mixed type fourdrinier part forming device with two forming rolls which are placed in sequence, and have open-ended surfaces, is adopted on the paper machine. In order to raise its water-filtering capability without influence on the paper-forming quality, the sum of wrapping angles (alpha and beta) which are formed by that the fabric belt is wound around the forming rolls is more than 165 deg. and the spacing distance of the two forming rolls is less than-0.1D, where D is the diameter of second forming roll. The length of the fabric belt suspended between the two rolls is 0.1-0.6m. The two forming rolls are basically on the same height or one is in upper position and the other is in lower position. The forming device of the paper machine is especially applicable to the production of multilayer thick paper. |
