The present invention is kind of electroplated glass fiber reinforced plastics in which the thermo-setting resin is used as the matrix glass fiber reinforced plastics and the additives such as MgCO3, Al2O3, CaCO3 etc. are blended. After having been electroplated, it not only maintains the characteristic physical and chemical properties of glass fiber reinforced plastics, but has the properties of metal material such as electric conductivity, magnetic permeability and glossy surface. It can be used for replacement of metal cast members which are fully necessary to industrial structure, medical apparatus and instruments, public facilities, large-scale sculptures and industrial arts. |
