    The present invention relates to a solder wire for welding. It is applicable to CO2 gas shielded welding. The operational environment can be low temp. at 40 deg.c below zero. Its welding object is the high-strength struactural member. Its main compositions are: C is less than or equal to 0.15%, Si is 0.2-1.0%, Mn is 0.8-2.8%, Ti is 0.03-0.3, Ni is 0.5-3.0%, and No is 0.2-0.8%. The spatter loss rate of the invented solder wire is low, and can be less than 4%. Its strength is high, can be up to 800 MPa. The low-temp. ductility is good and the impact ductility of the sharpey's specimen at 40 deg.c below zero can be up to above 40J and the impact ductility at 20 deg.c below zero can be up to above 20J, and therefore it is a good solder wire.
