    The light-adjusting ignitor may be used for the ignition and light adjustment of high-and low-pressure sodium lamp, mecury lamp and metallic-halide lamp. It has a PCM type DC/AC power converter consisting of CMOS IC and VMOS device, a high-frequency ballast and an auto high-voltage trigger controlled with the lamp current. The said ignitor makes the gas-discharge lamps be able to operate at 150-240V and become light-adjustable ones. Moreover, it can improve power factor and increase efficiency.
