This release powder for metallic cast belongs to a mould-coating material used on casting metal parts. It is composed of marble, talcum powder, dry earth, magnesium oxide, fire powder, trace element, gypsum powder and pottery clay. The charge ratio can be regulated according to the requirement of different materials, property, finish and strength of cast parts. Proportioned powder goes through internally thermal treatment at 400-700 deg.C and is then prepared into a slabby matter to be coated on dry mould. On casting, a chemical reaction between this release powder and molten metal occurs and a volatile gas and a white powder are generated to separate cast part from mould. |
