The present invention offers a vacuum induction remelting method for producing isometric fine crystal ingots. Its features are: under the condition of vacuum or positive pressure, metallic self-consuming electrodes whose lifting and lowering are controllable are vertically put inside an induction coil, under the action of high or medium frequency current, they will be melted gradually and form melted drops falling down into a lower rotating steel mold to solidify again. The advantages of the present invention are: the compsn. of the alloy is homogeneous, the crystal grains are fine, and the property is stable. The matching of strength and plasticity of the alloy is well realized, the low cycle fatigue property is improved, in addn., the equipment is simple, the technological operation is convenient and the cost is low. |
