    This invention relates to a method of direct preparing polymeric aluminium chloride which uses aluminium hydroxide as raw material. Aluminium hydroxide and industrial hydrochloric acid has been mixed and stirring well in a reactor, adding catalyst, heating with vapour, reacting 6-8 h, ppt. in deposit tank, drying in a drier, finally the products of polymeric aluminium chloride has been produced. It contains no fluorine and mercury. Impurity of pb and Mn is also less than that products which produced by other method. This products can be used as flocculant for purifying waste water, it has high pruifying efficiency.
