The new-generation electronic ballast can replace available cored inductive ballast used in high-pressure mercury lamp, high-pressure sodium lamp, halogen tungsten lamp and other high intensity lamp. In the said ballast, the AC voltage is first converted into DC voltage in a rectifier and then high-freq alternate voltage is produced with a high-freq oscillator and fed to lamp tube for operation. A start circuit is also provided and a trigger may be addd if necessary for eliminating now-used outside starter. The present invention can result in obvious material saving and energy saving. |
