    The present invention relates to a small laser device with complex functions of laser and nonlinear effect. The self freq-multiplying laser crystal used is a monocrystal of NYAB (Ndx Y1-X Al3 (BO3)4, where X=0.03-0.09), Whih has low threshold and high eficiency. By using common flash lamp as pumping source, the self-radiated elementary-wave laser of 1.340 micrometer and 1.064 micrometer may be multiplied into visible laser of 0.670 micrometer and 0.532 micrometer.
