This invented treatment method for graphite anode in the chlorine-soda industry belongs to the field of thermo-chemistry, concretely, i.e. the thermo-chemical treatment for the graphite anode of electrolytic bath in the chlorine-soda industry. The method consists in that graphite anode is first heated in a heating furnace, and then is hot-dipped with a soln. of cobalt salt-soln. which can transform into Co3O4; it is then taken out and heated, and impregnated again. As such cycle is repeated for 2-3 times, graphite anode contg. Co3O4 is obtd. of which the service life is 2-7 times longer than that of the original one, the electrical property is improved, the potential drops by 40-303 mv, and moreover the cost is low, the method is imple and easy to be popularized. |
