This invention involves a new technology for making a generation of hybrid of Chinese cabbage. Taking the seed of a sterile strain of Chinese cabbage or any part of the strain, and inoculate it onto culture medium by surface sterilization and under pasteurized condition for coltivation 5-7 days. Its top bud is cut and then turned into another culture medium, induced the prodn. of undefinite bud, which is again shifted to culture medium for rootstriking seedling. Transplantation is possible as the root is formed. The present invention can obtain 100% sterile strain, attaining a hybrid rate of 100%. The method is simple and easy to perform, and the resource of parent is widespread. It is advantageous to a factory prodn., thus expanding the range of utilizing a generation of hybrid parent of Chinese cabbage. |
