The invented system is composed of protection devices for up train, for down train and for both up and down trains. In the protection device for up train, there are an up train blocking signal generator and a track code transmitter; in the protection device for down train, there is a track relay; and for both up and down train protection, there are control panel, level crossing signal generator, bell alarm and audio warning device from microcomputer controlled radio. The system has high level of automation, excellent reliability, and high capability to cope with an emergency. The whole protection system can be put to work within one second. |
