The table vice is provided with spherical movable jaws of multiple degrees of freedom. The spherical movable jaws consist of a movable spherical jaw block, an internal ball socket and an external ball socket which are in good fit with the movable ball jaws respectively at their internal sphere. After assembly, the movable ball jaws can be turned at arbitrary direction to suit the work piece so that it is suitable to hold work pieces of complicated shape. It is possible to replace the external ball socket with a tension spring which pulls the spherical jaw close to the internal ball socket. |
