The invented numerically controlled milling machine for tyre thread patterns is mainly used for processing of thread pattern of automobile and tractor tyres at top surface as well as at both sides. It is featured in providing the required function of four numerically controlled coordinate systems by two numerically controlled coordinate systems plus a mechanical copying mechanism. For each pattern, a numerically controlled programme can be compiled no matter how complicated the pattern might be. The machine is simple in construction, low in cost, easy and convenient to build and operate with high efficiency and reliable performance, and will be an ideal tool for tyre thread pattern manufacturers. |
