This invention relates to a method for cladding Au or Au alloy on partial or entire surface of spectacle-frame. In this method, a brushing mode to deposit Au on the surface of spectacle-frame base, special DC power supply, brushing accessory and Au-cladding solution are used. The thickness of cladded Au layer has an option of 0-20 microns. The surface cladded with Au has high brightness, and gay colour and durable lustre. The method features wide adaptability, simple technological operation and low investment in apparatus, and is also suitable for other artistic metal products such as necktie clip, badge, ornament and lighter. |
