    A process for recovering Rh from the waste catalyst of carbonyl synthesis reaction includes such steps as adding the carbonate of alkali metal or alkali-earth metal, burning at 650-700 deg.C to become ash, reaction with acidic sulfate of alkali metal in molten state to obtain soluble Rh salt, and electrolysis for separating Rh.
